Selfos Fumigant-Insecticide is a systemic preparation of a broad spectrum of action for combating pests of stocks by fumigation. Selfos is a fumigant with rodenticidal and insecticidal action. As a result of contact of the preparation with moisture present in the atmospheric air, a chemical reaction of aluminum phosphide occurs. As a result of the reaction, the preparation decomposes with the release of colorless phosphine gas, carbon dioxide and ammonia. Phosphine gas causes paralysis of the nervous system of the pest, as a result of which metabolic processes are disrupted and the supply of oxygen to the body is blocked, which contributes to its death.Advantages of the preparation: • the preparation is used in elevators and granaries, ship holds, wagons; • is characterized by high biological activity; • ensures 100% death of the complex of collar pests at all stages of their development; • does not accumulate in agricultural products.Features of use: The tablets are introduced into the grain stored in bulk using special probes. In contact with water, the drug can cause spontaneous combustion.
