Insecticide for collar pests K-Obiol 25ES 5L

K-Obiol 25EC (5L) is a professional two-component insecticide designed for the preventive disinfestation of empty warehouses, grain stores, grain elevators, barns, containers, ship holds, and surrounding areas prior to grain storage.The product contains two active ingredients:

• deltamethrin (25 g/L) – an insecticide with contact and stomach action;
• piperonyl butoxide (225 g/L) – an efficacy enhancer that blocks the insects' protective enzymes.

Upon contact with the treated surface, deltamethrin penetrates the pest's chitinous exoskeleton, causing paralysis of the nervous system and rapid death. The initial effect is visible within 30 minutes of application.K-Obiol is effective against: grain moths, Mediterranean flour moths, saw-toothed grain beetles, grain weevils, cigarette beetles, lesser grain borers, and most other stored-product pests.Advantages of K-Obiol:

Application of K-ObiolTreatment is carried out in empty warehouses, grain stores, elevators, and on the premises of grain processing facilities prior to loading grain for storage. The product is applied via spraying or aerosol treatment using backpack sprayers, motorized sprayers, or cold fog generators. The volume of the working solution must be sufficient to ensure complete surface wetting. Prepare the solution according to the instructions.Mandatory treatment areas include:

• floors, walls, and ceilings;
• cracks, crevices, and surface joints;
• ventilation ducts and vents;
• loading/unloading and transport equipment.

If stock damage has previously been recorded at the site, it is also recommended to spray the building exteriors and the surrounding area. To eliminate pests in hard-to-reach areas and to control flying insects, space treatment using fogging equipment may be employed.Treatment specifications

• Flat-fan nozzles producing a "hollow cone" spray pattern are used.
• Nozzle output: 0.8–1 L/min.
• Working pressure: 2–3 bar.

Grain treatmentGrain is sprayed while being fed onto a conveyor belt or into a silo or elevator hopper.Application rate: 20 ml of K-Obiol per 400–500 ml of water per tonne of grain.

• No mixing is required; the product distributes evenly throughout the grain mass.
• Grain moisture content increases only minimally after treatment; no additional ventilation is required.

Working solution application rates

• 50 ml/m² – for smooth, non-porous surfaces (concrete, metal).
• 100 ml/m² – for rough and porous surfaces (wood, brick, plaster).
