The principle of using ozone in grain
It is important to understand the principle of ozone action against a certain group of harmful organisms, taking into account the half-life directly in the grain. The method of uniform ozone distribution should be followed, taking into account the temperature parameters and grain moisture. The diffusion of ozone in different grain crops can differ significantly depending on the temperature in the storage and the method of supply, which is evidenced by periodic control of the gas concentration level. These parameters are extremely important when determining the volume of gasification, the conditions for assessing the ozone concentration, taking into account the necessary disinfection exposure for the elimination of pests. Analysis of the gas distribution in the grain mass is of decisive importance for the effectiveness of disinfection and preservation of grain for a long period.

Ozonation against harmful insect species.
Grain ozonation against harmful insect species is carried out taking into account the type of granary and storage culture. The process of ensuring a continuous flow to achieve a fluidized bed can be carried out using an external or internal recirculation system, a closed cycle and a method of applying ozone with low pressure supply. The necessary parameters of product quality indicators are necessarily taken into account.
Effective action against pathogenic microorganisms.
In addition to the action of ozone against certain types of harmful insects, high efficiency has been determined in neutralizing a large list of pathogenic microorganisms, the presence of which in grain is an extremely negative phenomenon. Harmful insects can lead to significant losses during storage from 5 to 30% of the total mass of grain, while mycotoxins can reduce quality and yield from 15 to 50%. Ozone quickly decomposes into molecular oxygen, which eliminates the need for long-term degassing and minimizes the impact on the environment. Detoxification of pesticide residues.
The use of industrial ozonizers allows you to achieve neutralization of residual amounts of active ingredients of pesticides in grain and granaries.
